Hi All,
If you turned in your registration form for Airport day, your child gets to go on a helicopter ride and learn about our ecosystem here in Lakeside. We didn't have to draw names, because we were under our maximum number of participants. However, it looks like the incoming storm is gaining strength, and the pilot may not be able to fly on Saturday. We have a back-up date of Saturday, October 2, 2021. Just two weeks away. We will get the final word from Jerry Trimble Helicopters tomorrow, and will keep you posted. We apologize for the rain, but know that our forest and lake can really use the water.
We are also planning a Sand Tram ride for the kids through Sun Buggy ATV Rentals in Hauser. It should be a fun event, and give the kids a taste of the sand! Stay tuned for details!

Kids will learn about weather and the importance of protecting our area, and then take a helicopter flight to get a good look over our lakes! Sign up your family at City Hall. Â Names will be drawn by the Mayor on Wednesday 09/15/21 around noon.
